Have you ever sent money abroad? 🌍

I know, right? Supporting cousins, relatives, and loved ones — it can feel like sending money home or abroad has become part of everyday life. But those extra fees that pop up with every transaction don’t make it any easier! What if there was a new way to do it? 🤔

Meet Atlantic Money👋

Atlantic Money is a platform that makes sending money abroad simple — and much cheaper. Unlike other services, it lets you send up to £1,000,000 for a flat fee of just £3, using the live exchange rate. No percentage-based fees, no hidden costs — just a fair, transparent way to move money internationally.

Benefit? ➕

Atlantic Money is taking direct aim at platforms like Wise, which charge percentage-based fees on each transfer. On their website, they highlight that they’re 10x cheaper than Wise — and with a flat, low-cost fee every time you send money, it’s easy to see why they’re gaining attention.

Concerns?🤔

From a competitive standpoint, platforms like LemFi offer similar international coverage, with zero transfer fees in most countries — except China, India, and Pakistan, where fees remain modest at under £1.75. However, LemFi’s transfer limits are smaller, capped at £5,000 daily and £8,000 weekly, making it more suitable for smaller transactions. Some users have also noted issues such as lengthy verification, occasional payment delays, and fluctuations in exchange rates after locking in. Still, many have praised LemFi as a game-changer that’s helped them save significantly on transfer costs.

How well are they doing? 📈

Atlantic Money isn’t short on support — the company has secured £7.5 million in seed funding from top-tier investors like Index Ventures, Amplo, and Kleiner Perkins.
