Find your customers on Roku this Black Friday

As with any digital ad campaign, the important thing is to reach streaming audiences who will convert. To that end, Roku’s self-service Ads Manager stands ready with powerful segmentation and targeting options. After all, you know your customers, and we know our streaming audience.

Worried it’s too late to spin up new Black Friday creative? With Roku Ads Manager, you can easily import and augment existing creative assets from your social channels. We also have AI-assisted upscaling, so every ad is primed for CTV.

Once you’ve done this, then you can easily set up A/B tests to flight different creative variants and Black Friday offers. If you’re a Shopify brand, you can even run shoppable ads directly on-screen so viewers can purchase with just a click of their Roku remote.

Bonus: we’re gifting you $5K in ad credits when you spend your first $5K on Roku Ads Manager. Just sign up and use code GET5K. Terms apply.

You just ripped your favourite pair of jeans! 😫

Sure, you could take them to a tailor… but finding one, dropping them off, and picking them up again? Total hassle. But what if it didn’t have to be? 👀

Meet The Seam👋

The Seam is a tech platform that connects you with skilled local tailors, cobblers, and more. Simply share a few details about your item and the repair you need, and The Seam matches you with the perfect artisan nearby to bring it back to life.

Benefit? ➕

The Seam makes tailoring and repairs easier and more accessible for everyone — while helping extend the lifespan of our clothes. At scale, it could seriously reduce the amount of clothing thrown away each year. Plus, it gives local tailors and repair experts access to a wider customer base, helping their small businesses thrive. Convenient, sustainable, and empowering. ♻️

Concerns?🤔

The Seam charges a 20% service fee to customers — fair for convenience, but it can tempt some people to skip the middleman and go directly to the vendor. A few users have even suggested doing just that, which isn’t ideal for The Seam’s model. There’s also the issue of quality control — if a vendor doesn’t deliver, customers’ main option is to leave a negative review. Beyond that, recourse is limited.

How well are they doing? 📈

The Seam recently launched a UK-wide partnership with Adidas, allowing loyalty members to use their points to pay for clothing repairs instead of discounts on new items — a clever move toward sustainability. The company is also exploring a subscription model where customers can buy products and maintain them over time, extending their lifespan and reducing waste.

Till next time,
